I'm a big fan of True Blood, and the Sookie Stackhouse novels on which the series is based. We just finished reading the latest book to come out in paperback "Dead and Gone." So we thought a Sookie comic would be entertaining.

I like the books and the series both for differenet reasons. I like the books because the main character is engaging and strong. She gets beat on a great deal, figuratively and literally., but she gets right back up and keeps on keepin' on.

I like the series because all of the peripheral characters in the book are awesome. They are way more interesting than the two lead characters. I really sort of tolerate Sookie and Bill so that i can keep up with Lafayette, Eric and Pam.

Either way they both the books and the series are well worth your spare time if you have any stuck in the couch cushions.
